After discussing her target audience, her unique selling proposition and the mortgage market in and around Carlsbad, we had a clear direction for her brand strategy and used that as a strong foundation for her visual branding.

Our challenge for visual branding began with Jennifer Lund’s logo design. She wanted something bold and powerful, yet still feminine so that it resonated with her and her target audience. We developed a variety of logo options for her to choose from but she kept coming back to the hand drawn script for her name. We choose a bold, hot pink paired with a stark black and white to really set her apart from other mortgage broker logos.

Jennifer Lund’s mortgage company is located in a colorful and quaint area of the California Coast and her goal was to capture the essence of the area by including bespoke photography of colorful murals and interesting buildings to tell a visual story of the city of Carlsbad. We used that imagery along with her bold branding to create a very unique mortgage brokerage website unlike any other out there.
